Indonesia is a massive archipelago with 3 (three) different time zones.

  • Indonesia Western Standard Time (WIB) - GMT +7

    • In this time zone, covers the area of Java, Sumatra Island, Kalimantan and also Central Kalimantan. Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, is under this time zone.

  • Indonesia Central Standard Time (WITA) - GMT +8

    • In this time zone, covers the area of East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali, West and East Nusa Tenggara.

  • Indonesia Eastern Standard Time (WIT) - GMT +9

    • The Eastern time zone covers the areas of Maluku and Papua.
