Strengthening Economic Cooperation, Indonesian Embassy in Bratislava Organizes an Annual Business Lunch Indonesia – Slovakia 2021
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bratislava will organize an Annual Business Lunch Indonesia – Slowakia 2021. This is Embassy’s annual event which aims at enhancing bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Slovakia. The Embassy invites a number of government officials as well as business people for a luncheon. This year’s business lunch theme is "Business without Boundary: Expanding Market Access for Indonesian and Slovak Businessmen". |

Launching of "Virtual Indonesian House" Website
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the wheels of diplomacy must not stop. Economic relations between Indonesia and Slovakia still have to move, even though both countries currently are facing the second phase of the COVID-19. For this reason, on 23 September 2020, the Indonesian Embassy in Bratislava in collaboration with the European Directorate 2, the Directorate General of America and Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and supported by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held a business meeting and launched Virtual Indonesian House Slovakia online with the theme "Embrace Potential Economic Cooperation Indonesia - Slovakia ” in Jakarta and Bratislava, Slovakia. |

Temporary Prohibitions of Entry (Travel Ban) into Indonesia for Foreigners in response to Covid-19’s Outbreak
In response to the Covid-19’s outbreak that has developed into a pandemic spread across more than 150 countries, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia via Minister of Law and Human Rights issued temporary prohibitions of entry and/or transit (travel ban) into Indonesia for foreigners. This prohibitions is stipulated on the Minister of Law and Human Right’s Regulation No. 11 Year 2020 concerning Temporary Prohibition for Foreigners to Enter the Territory of the Republic of Indonesia. The Government undertake this policy as part of the efforts in suppressing the spread of Covid-19’s outbreak in Indonesia. |

The Indonesian pavilion booked a potential transaction of around Rp. 2.5 billion for a total of 150 pax, especially for packages travel to Bali, Komodo, Papua, during the 26th International Travel Fair (ITF) Slovakiatour and Danubius Gastro which took place on January 23-26, 2020 at the Incheba exhibition building in Bratislava. |

Encouraging Export and Investment in Indonesia-Slovakia Business Forum
In an effort to encourage exports and investment to Indonesia, the Indonesian Embassy in Bratislava collaborated with the Slovak Trade and Investment Development Agency (SARIO) held the Indonesia-Slovak Business Forum in Bratislava on 23 September 2019 and with the Chamber of Commerce of Presov on 24 September 2019. The two activities were attended by approximately 70 Indonesian and Slovak business companies and intended to seek opportunities for increasing trade, tourism and investment cooperation. |

Indonesian Company, Gravfarm Exported Coffee for EUR 1 Million to Slovakia
On September 18, 2019, a memorandum on the delivery of coffee to Central Europe worth EUR 1 million was signed at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bratislava between the premium coffee maker Gravfarm from West Java, represented by CEO R. Yugian Leonardy with Bozske Prichute s.r.o Slovakia represented by its director Lukáš Ondrišák. The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Slovakia, Mrs. Adiyatwidi Adiwoso Asmady, also attended the signing of the MoU. |

Indonesian Day in Slovakia
On August 24-25, 2019, the Indonesian Embassy in Bratislava held a promotional event titled "Indonesan Day" in downtown Bratislava and Piestany, Slovakia. This activity is a series of activities on the 74th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia by inviting the Liga Tari Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia Krida Budaya. In Bratislava, the Indonesian Embassy collaborates with the Bratislava Cultural and Information Center (BKIS), while in Piestany collaborates with the Cultural Center of Piestany. |

Angklung Becomes the Highlight at the Asian Weekend Bratislava
The dynamic of Angklung and percussion becomes the highlight at the Asian Weekend which took from 2-3 of August 2019, in the center of Bratislava City, Main Square Old Town. The audience enthusiastically shook their bodies to accompany the songs being played. The angklung group played Indonesian songs, Western songs but also popular Slovak song. |

The Potential Economic Cooperation Between Indonesia and Slovakia
On June 18, 2019, the Indonesian Embassy in Bratislava organized an informal business luncheon for Slovak businessmen and investors. The event is a part of Indonesian Embassy’s roadshow to explore the potential of cooperation in the business and investment sectors in order to improve the bilateral economic relations between Indonesia and Slovakia. Also, to attract Slovak entrepreneurs and investors to participate in the Indonesia Trade Expo (TEI), 16-20 October 2019 and Indonesia-Visegrad Business Forum in Jakarta, October 17, 2019. |
